How many of us make New Year’s resolutions and not keep them? Most.
The best way to stick to a promise to yourself is to start with smaller, attainable, and realistic goals that will lead up to the ultimate goal you are looking to achieve. If you begin your year reaching for a bar you set so high that it’s impossible to reach, you‘re setting yourself up for failure. A coach can help you to make ‘stepping stone goals’ which are part of a strategic plan to be able to grab that proverbial bar.
Dream big, but make a plan on how to reach that big dream. Learn some things about yourself along the way. Re-evaluate during your journey and reassess after you’ve reached your first few goals. Gather a toolbox of mental self-awareness as you walk your path achieving goal after goal.
Make your resolution. Hire a coach and I assure you it will be more achievable and sustainable if you do what I suggest. Hire a coach. Make a strategic plan. Set some achievable goals whereby you must reach each goal in the strategic order you placed them before moving on to your next. Be motivated and determined and you got this!!
Happy New Year’s Resolution. Achieved!
