The weather outside was frightful.

Connecticut weather is kinda like Forrest Gump’s chocolate analogy. Ya don’t know what you’re gonna get until it comes. Even the weather forecasters hardly ever get it right. One day it’s 65 degrees and the next day we can get a foot of snow. Ya just never know. Today was ‘skid into work day’. Black ice everywhere and cars piling up on top of one another. Drivers helpless and panicked knowing their brakes didn’t have a chance on a layer of ice. Not exactly the best day to leave the house. I wonder if any of those poor folks happened to notice how beautiful the ice glistened on the trees as they careened into the car in front of them. I guess not. It was a northeast nightmare on the roads this morning, and a made-for-Disney wonderland with every branch shining like diamonds. The picture doesn’t do it justice. However, if you live in Ct, you know.
